AHS Staffing Prepares for growth
Oklahoma based AHS Staffing was founded in April 2010 following the acquisition of Houston based PharmStat Staffing, LLC. They have not only expanded their services over the past four years, they have expanded their team and outgrown their current location.
“We started out as a Pharmacy Staffing Agency but now we have a team dedicated to the dialysis industry as well,” said Jerick Henley, President of AHS Staffing.
AHS RenalStat was founded in February 2012 and provides staffing services for Managers, RNs and Certified Dialysis Technicians for: Temporary Staffing, Permanent Placement, and Travel Assignments across the nation.
Henley said the new 4500 sq ft building was designed and constructed to be a workplace that supported the culture of AHS Staffing. Open space that encourages communication amongst team members and amenities like a gym for all the staff to utilize will help AHS Staffing attract additional talent as the company continues to grow and expand.
The gym at AHS will come in handy since they have formed an “AHS Racing Team” where several members of the company are avid cyclists and compete in cycling events as well as triathlons. “It’s not only a great way to stay fit, it’s also a good way to help keep insurance premiums down and create a ‘team’ environment within the company”, said Mark Smith, CEO.
The new office located at 3051 Willowood Road in Edmond will hold up to 20 employees. AHS currently has ten full time internal employees but looks to continue adding new team members as the business grows.
The company cut the ribbon on their new facility on January 14, 2014 with the help of the Edmond Chamber, Ambassadors of the Chamber, friends, family and employees. “We’re excited to move to the next phase of our strategic growth plan and are pleased to be doing it in a great community like Edmond, OK”, said Henley.
