Our nurses spent over 1.5 million hours serving patients on a travel assignment. Crazy right? That number can seem unimaginable but could easily translate to more familiar ways nurses impact their patients. Whether it’s the gentle care of a loved one, a steady voice of reason, or the difference between life and death, nurses continue to show up and put in the time to change lives.
STEPS WALKED WHILE SERVING PATIENTS
If you’ve ever been to the hospital, you’ve likely seen a nurse making their rounds or running to care for a patient. Our nurses walked over 1.2 billion steps while serving patients on assignment. With this in mind, 1.2 billion steps walked is no small feat but can quickly become imaginable when put into context.
